Pokémon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass
Get ready for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova! A new Tour Pass, available from February 24th to March 9th, offers exciting rewards and progression milestones. This pass complements the upcoming Unova-themed event, featuring Gen 5 Pokémon encounters, raids, and egg hatches.
The annual Pokémon GO Tour, timed around Pokémon Day, spotlights a different region each year. Previous Tours celebrated Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2022), introducing shiny Pokémon and unique variants.
The Unova Tour Pass, accessible from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM local time, offers a free track and a paid deluxe track. Players earn Tour Points by completing daily tasks, catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs. Milestones unlock rewards like Candy and Stickers, culminating in a special Zorua encounter. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6 PM.
Pokémon GO's New Pass: A Deluxe Option
A deluxe Tour Pass ($14.99 or $19.99 with 10 ranks unlocked) is available on the Pokémon GO Webstore during the same period. This provides all free and paid track rewards, a Mythical Victini encounter, and a new Lucky Trinket. This item guarantees a Lucky Trade with a chosen friend, resetting their Lucky Friend status afterward. Deluxe pass rewards, including the Lucky Trinket, also expire on March 9th at 6 PM.
The Unova Tour Pass adds to the excitement surrounding the event, which includes the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion and shiny Meloetta via ticketed Masterwork Research.
