Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetic Rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing fresh cosmetic items to the in-game shop. These new additions include a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat. The usual Shinedust exchange remains available for players with excess event tickets.

The event itself runs until January 22nd, offering players a chance to earn event tickets. However, the shop stocking these coveted Blastoise-themed cosmetics will stay open until January 28th, providing a grace period to redeem accumulated tickets. Players are encouraged to log in daily to maximize their chances of acquiring all the items before the ticket distribution ends.

Following a busy holiday season filled with generous login bonuses, the event provides a welcome addition for players. Many have already completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

The Blastoise Wonder Pick event's first phase, which began January 6th, introduced promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander. These cards boast the same attacks as their standard counterparts but showcase unique artwork. Rewards from the first phase, including a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions, accessible through special Wonder Pick choices, offer additional Event Shop Tickets. These missions, focusing on Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire and Water-type cards, are cumulative across both event parts. The Bonus Pick also provides Event Shop Tickets, simplifying the acquisition of shop items. Daily logins are strongly recommended, especially for those aiming to complete their Pokémon TCG Pocket promo card collection, as trading these limited cards may not be possible, according to ongoing speculation.
