Pokemon TCG Pocket Fans Request Overhaul of One Feature

Pokemon TCG Pocket's Community Showcase: A Visual Disappointment?

Players are voicing concerns about the visual presentation of the Community Showcase in Pokemon TCG Pocket. While the feature allows players to display their cards with custom sleeves, many find the small card icons alongside large sleeves unappealing and visually underwhelming.

Pokemon TCG Pocket faithfully recreates the physical Pokemon TCG experience on mobile, letting players open packs, collect cards, and battle. The game boasts a comprehensive feature set, including a Community Showcase for sharing collections.

Despite its popularity, the Showcase's presentation is generating negative feedback. A Reddit thread highlights player dissatisfaction with the small card icons displayed next to oversized sleeves. Comments suggest this design choice feels rushed or perhaps intentionally designed to encourage closer examination of individual displays.

Players Demand Community Showcase Improvements

The Community Showcase in Pokemon TCG Pocket allows players to showcase cards within various themed sleeves, earning in-game tokens based on likes received. However, the current presentation, featuring miniature card icons, is widely criticized as visually uninspired. Some players attribute this to cost-cutting by developer DeNA, while others speculate it's a deliberate design to encourage more detailed viewing.

Currently, there are no announced plans to revamp the Community Showcase's visuals. However, future updates will introduce virtual card trading, adding a new social dimension to the game.
