The Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 (August 16-18) will offer special rewards including up to three redeemable codes. While the main event occurs in Honolulu, trainers worldwide can earn exclusive in-game items by watching the official Twitch stream.
How to Earn Pokémon GO World Championships Twitch Drops
Trainers can claim Twitch Drops by watching 30 minutes of Pokémon GO's World Championships stream on Twitch (any day during the event). Your Twitch account must be connected to your Pokémon Trainer Club account first. Note: Minimizing the stream pauses reward progress.
Claiming Your Rewards
After 30 minutes of viewing, Twitch chat will notify you to claim your reward via the Twitch Drops Inventory Page or rewards.pokemon.com. Codes expire August 26, 2024 at 11:59 PM UTC.
Event Exclusive Rewards
Viewers can earn two codes during the main stream (one per day), plus a third code from official co-streams between August 16 (9 AM HST) and August 19 (12 AM HST). These unlock special Timed Research missions:
Day 1 Rewards
Day 1 redeems grant Timed Research featuring:
- Sableye encounter with Shadow Claw (Fast Attack) and Foul Play (Charged Attack)
- Elite Charged TM
- Sableye caught during event know Shadow Claw/Foul Play
- Additional Candy XL for trainers level 31+ completing 3-star Shadow Raids
Day 2 Rewards
Day 2 offers Great League-themed Timed Research with three team choices:
