Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day: A Pokémon GO Event Guide
Event Start Time & Bonuses:
The Gigantamax Kingler event begins Saturday, February 1st, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. Gigantamax Kingler will appear in six-star Max Battles, with a chance to encounter a Shiny variant.
Event bonuses include:
- Increased Max Particle collection limit (1600 during the event, 5600 with Timed Research)
- All Power Spots host Gigantamax Battles
- Increased Power Spot refresh frequency
- 8x Max Particles from Power Spots
- (Pre-event bonus, 12 AM - 5 PM): 2x Max Particles from exploration and 1/4 reduced adventuring distance for Max Particle acquisition. Note: The last two bonuses require collecting all visible Max Particles in the Nearby menu.
Event Exclusives & Tickets:
A $5 (or equivalent) Timed Research is available during the event (2 PM - 5 PM), rewarding:
- 1 Max Mushroom
- 25,000 XP
- Additional bonuses: 2x XP from Max Battles and an increased Max Particle collection limit.
Tickets are giftable to Great Friends or higher, but only purchasable until 4 PM local time. Purchases are non-refundable and not payable with PokéCoins.
Tips for Success:
Utilize Max Mushrooms to temporarily double your Dynamax/Gigantamax Pokémon's damage during Max Battles. Remember, using multiple Mushrooms doesn't stack the damage multiplier. Team up with other Trainers using the Campfire feature to tackle these challenging battles.
