Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor: A 2025 Roadmap of Surprises

The success of the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set has clearly energized Blizzard, leading to an ambitious roadmap for the year. Let's dive into what awaits us.
Year of the Raptor Highlights:
A revitalized Arena experience is finally arriving, a significant update that's been in development since last year. This refresh aims to attract a new generation of Arena players.
Cosmetics are getting a major upgrade with new Mythic skins and Signature cards. Most excitingly, Hearthstone introduces Pets – adorable companions that will be integrated into a new cosmetic acquisition system (details to be revealed later).
The Year of the Raptor begins with the first expansion, Into the Emerald Dream. Card reveals begin next week, but the in-game celebration has already started! Complete the Event Track to earn rewards such as The Great Dark Beyond Epic cards, packs from the new expansion, and a Raptor Herald card.

What's Next?
A dynamic game board, evolving throughout the Year of the Raptor, will launch alongside the expansion. Expect visual and audio updates with each new expansion.
The Core Set is also receiving a significant refresh, bringing back some classic cards (with adjustments) and introducing brand-new cards.
