Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, igniting the Flame-Chase Journey with new mysteries and uncharted territories.
Honkai Star Rail Version 3.1 Introduces New Characters
Version 3.1 introduces two new 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the securing of Nikador's Coreflame, the story continues in the new Grove of Epiphany map. Trailblazers will rescue survivors, unravel the catastrophe's mysteries, and reclaim Cerces' Coreflame to restore hope to Okhema.
The update delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State. This exploration unearths the long-lost history of the Era Chrysea and Tribbie's past. Tribbie (Tribios), the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, tasked with spreading a prophecy from Kephale.
Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His combat style involves sacrificing HP to power up, entering an enhanced form that automatically attacks enemies during his turns.

Returning Characters
Version 3.1 also brings back limited 5-star characters Yunli (first half of the warp event) and Huohuo (second half).
New Events
The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day and Night System impacting battles. Combat changes based on the time of day, triggering different buffs and effects.
The "Awooo Firm" event lets players manage a chimera squad in Okhema.
