Building upon the original's foundation of embodying legendary figures and Gods from diverse pantheons, Smite 2 expands its roster significantly. The beta also welcomes back beloved Gods from the original Smite, including Mulan, Geb, Ullr, and Agni, each with updated skill sets.
When Does the Smite 2 F2P Open Beta Begin?
- January 14, 2025
Further enriching the gameplay experience, a new 3v3 Joust mode arrives, set in an Arthurian-themed arena featuring teleporters and stealth grass for strategic maneuvering. A 1v1 Duel mode utilizes the same map. The innovative Aspects system adds a strategic layer, allowing players to exchange certain God abilities for powerful boons. For example, Athena sacrifices her ally-shielding teleport for a foe-weakening one. Twenty of Smite 2's 45 Gods will initially feature Aspects during the beta, with more to come.
Quality-of-life improvements abound, including Role Guides for new players, PC text chat, item store enhancements, death recaps, and more. The first Smite 2 esports tournament finale will be held at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas from January 17th-19th, showcasing the competitive potential of this exciting new MOBA. Smite 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
