Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all set to receive updates ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s launch

Get ready for a Sonic boom! Sega's celebrating the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with a flurry of exciting updates across its mobile Sonic game lineup. From Apple Arcade's Sonic Dream Team to Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces (available on the App Store and Google Play), new movie-inspired content is hitting the digital shelves.

First up, Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This update features three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Complete the levels before seeing the movie for the ultimate experience!

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team gets a boost with the addition of Shadow as a playable character, complete with his signature Chaos Control and Chaos Shift abilities. Unlock him by tackling Tails’ Challenges. New powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost are also added for all characters, with exclusive upgrades enhancing Shadow's abilities, including a Double Chaos Shift. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks round out this update, along with a revamped tutorial.

Lastly, Sonic Dash speeds into action on December 20th, allowing players to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges provide extra rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will follow in January with its own Shadow-themed updates.
