Sony's Participation in 2024 Tokyo Games Show is Their First Appearance Since 2019

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is back in the main exhibition hall at Tokyo Game Show 2024, marking their first full participation in four years. The official exhibitor list confirms SIE's presence among 731 companies occupying 3190 booths across Halls 1-8. While Sony had a presence at TGS 2023, it was limited to the indie game demo area. This year, they rejoin major publishers like Capcom and Konami in the main event.

Sony's specific plans remain undisclosed. Their May State of Play presentation showcased several 2024 releases, many of which will have launched by the time TGS rolls around. Furthermore, their recent financial reports indicated no plans for major new franchise releases before April 2025.
