With the new year just around the corner, GSC Game World has shared its plans and promises for the future of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. The developer's New Year's message outlines ongoing improvements and future content additions.

For S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, a significant patch (1.1) addressing over 1,800 bugs has recently been released. While new content is currently limited, GSC Game World promises a roadmap detailing upcoming additions in early 2025.

Fans of the original trilogy will also be pleased to hear about planned next-gen updates for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone collection on consoles. Further enhancements are also anticipated for the PC versions, likely including modern graphical upgrades.
