Netflix Games is soon to feature the narrative-driven action-adventure game, Thirsty Suitors. Currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, this unique breakup simulator offers a fresh take on the dating sim genre.
Prepare for turn-based combat against your exes, a gameplay mechanic enhanced by a mood system that exploits enemy weaknesses. Beyond battling, the game challenges you to impress your mother with your culinary skills by preparing South Asian-inspired dishes and to navigate the town of Timber Hills on your skateboard, performing tricks like grinds and wall runs.
Developed by Outerloop Games, Thirsty Suitors is a 1990s-set adventure exploring themes of culture, relationships, and self-discovery. The game's accolades include winning the 2022 Tribeca Games Awards and receiving nominations for the 2024 New York Game Awards and the 2024 GLAAD Media Award. Outerloop's Chandana “Eka” Ekanayake will participate in a Games for Change Festival panel on June 27th and 28th, discussing representation in video games.
