Anime enthusiasts yearning for a story of resilience and redemption will find much to cherish in My Happy Marriage. This emotionally charged series, renowned for its stunning animation, is set to return for a second season that promises to further explore the protagonist's transformative journey.

Miyo Saimori, the eldest daughter of the Saimori family, has faced a life of adversity since her mother's passing and her father's subsequent remarriage. Treated as a mere servant by her stepmother and half-sister Kaya (voiced by Lizzie Freeman), Miyo finds solace only in her childhood friend, Koji Tatsuishi (Michael Lorz). However, when her father arranges a marriage between Kaya and Koji, Miyo is sent away to marry the enigmatic Kiyoka Kudo (Damien Haas), known for his cold demeanor.

As Miyo navigates her new life with Kudo, the series delves into themes of love, healing, and self-discovery. Drawing inspiration from timeless tales like Cinderella and Fruits Basket, My Happy Marriage masterfully balances heart-wrenching drama with moments of hope and tenderness. Netflix Release Date: January 11th, 2025 (Weekly)

Anime fans, gear up for the debut of Sakamoto Days, a new Netflix series poised to revolutionize the action-comedy genre. Based on Yuto Suzuki's wildly popular manga, this show is a masterclass in blending high-octane action with side-splitting humor, set to leave a lasting impact on the anime landscape.

At the heart of the story is Taro Sakamoto, a legendary assassin whose name alone instills fear in the criminal underworld. Voiced by the incomparable Tomokazu Sugita in Japanese and the equally talented Matthew Mercer in English, Sakamoto is a formidable force. However, a chance encounter at a convenience store prompts him to abandon his deadly career for a tranquil life.

Five years on, Sakamoto is barely recognizable. The sleek, deadly assassin has transformed into a jovial family man with a generous waistline and a small business to manage. Yet, as fans of the genre know, the past seldom remains buried. When old enemies resurface, threatening his hard-earned peace, Sakamoto must revive his skills and step back into the fray.
