Tricky Chibi Go: Building Optimal Teams

Author : Riley Jan 11,2026

In Trickcal:Chibi Go, victory often depends on how effectively you build your team before combat begins. With the Preparation Phase, unit positioning, elemental affinities, and upgrade resources all factoring in, a well-planned team composition gives you a significant advantage.

This guide covers the core principles of team building in this RPG, including preparation mechanics, role balance, positioning strategies, affinity interactions, and how to maximize duplicates and upgrades. Whether you're progressing through story stages, competing in PvP, or tackling a difficult boss, these strategies will help you create stronger teams from the outset.

Preparation Phase & Team Rules

Before each battle, you enter the Preparation Phase, which typically lasts one minute. During this time, you assemble your team using a limited coin budget, select from available apostles, and assign their positions.

Keep these rules in mind:

You can deploy up to six apostles. Each wave provides additional coins for the next round, allowing you to adjust your lineup. If an apostle is defeated, you can redeploy them in later waves by spending coins again. Many stages offer suggested apostles, which are automatically included unless you choose to replace them.

In challenging battles or PvP, small stat boosts from upgrades can be the difference between a narrow defeat and a decisive victory.

Team building in Trickcal:Chibi Go combines strategy, resource management, and some prediction. Master the Preparation Phase, balance roles effectively, consider affinities, and upgrade duplicates wisely to substantially increase your chances of success.

And of course—if you prefer clearer visuals, easier team management, and more comfortable controls—play Trickcal:Chibi Go on PC with BlueStacks. You'll experience smoother team building, faster swapping, and more immersive battles.
