Great news for fans of the "Pony/Horse Girl" anime! Cygames has confirmed an English version of their popular racing simulation game, Uma Musume Pretty Derby. The Japanese version has received rave reviews, and now a global audience can experience the excitement.

What is Uma Musume Pretty Derby?

For the uninitiated, Uma Musume Pretty Derby is part of a larger multimedia franchise, encompassing anime, manga, and more. Its popularity stems largely from the successful anime series. The game, originally released in Japan and Asia in February 2021 for Android and iOS, features horse girls—racehorses reincarnated as girls—competing in the "Twinkle Series," a national sports entertainment show, while aiming for idol stardom.

While the global release is pending, characters like Gold Ship (Team Spica) have already appeared in other globally released games such as Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, hinting at future crossovers once the English version launches.
