Upcoming Gaming Blockbusters in 2025

January 2025

Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Kicking off the year on January 17th is Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the latest installment in Tecmo Koei's iconic musou series. Prepare for a next-gen experience overflowing with enemies to vanquish. Available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Next, on January 30th, prepare for long-range mayhem with Sniper Elite: Resistance. This entry continues the tradition of… well, let's just say it's a very specific kind of sniping simulator. Expect it on all Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and PC.

February 2025

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
February 11th brings the highly anticipated Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Continue Henry of Skalitz's journey in this historically rich RPG. Available on current-gen consoles and PC.

Also launching on February 11th is Sid Meier's Civilization 7. This legendary strategy game needs little introduction. Expect it on virtually every platform except mobile (for now).

On February 14th, experience feudal Japan in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Play as both a ninja and a samurai in this dual-protagonist adventure. Available on current-gen consoles and PC.

For a unique Valentine's Day experience, there's Date Everything!, a sandbox dating simulator with over 100 unique characters. Launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.

Monster Hunter Wilds
Obsidian's Avowed arrives on February 18th for Xbox Series X|S and PC. This first-person fantasy RPG promises a compelling experience without the massive time commitment of some other titles.

February 21st sees the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Goro Majima's amnesiac pirate adventure is sure to be a wild ride. Available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

Finally, on February 28th, Monster Hunter Wilds makes its debut on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Capcom aims to refine the core gameplay while adding new features to appeal to both veterans and newcomers.

March 2025

Split Fiction
March 6th brings the co-op adventure Split Fiction from Hazelight Studios. Expect bizarre adventures and a single purchase allowing two players to play online. Available on PC and current-gen consoles.

On March 25th, experience the peaceful life of a hobbit in Tales of the Shire, a cozy life simulator. Available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.

Atomfall
For a post-apocalyptic experience, Atomfall arrives on March 27th, blending survival and RPG elements. Available on all platforms except Switch.

Also on March 27th, The First Berserker: Khazan, a single-player action RPG based on the Dungeon Fighter universe, launches on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

March 28th sees the PC release of inZOI, a visually stunning life simulator with the potential to disrupt the market. Current-gen console versions are planned for later.

April 2025

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
Finally, April 24th marks the return of the Fatal Fury series with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. This is the first mainline entry in over two decades. Available on PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
