Upcoming Update Adds New Building, Jukebox, and More
Schedule 1 remains one of the top-selling titles on Steam, a position it seems likely to maintain thanks to its regular content updates. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on May 1, the solo developer behind TVGS, Tyler, unveiled a preview of the next patch.
His post included several images detailing what players can anticipate in the upcoming release, which is nearly ready for open beta testing. The screenshots highlight a new structure labeled "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox that many believe will let players switch the in-game soundtrack, and an empty corridor.
Despite the preview, an official release date for the next update has not yet been announced. However, it will first enter a beta testing phase before being fully rolled out. To gain beta access, players need to adjust their Steam settings for the game and opt into the beta branch. Further details are pending, but interested fans can visit the game's Trello board for more information on TVGS's planned features and updates.
Planned Map Expansion

Last week, Tyler held his first development stream on Twitch, connecting with the community and sharing insights into his future plans for the game. During the stream, he demonstrated some of the 3D modeling work he has completed and discussed his vision for expanding the game's map.
Tyler mentioned his intention to introduce a "swampy, slum-like area" and expand the more affluent side of the town by adding additional houses along the cliffs. Once those are completed, his next focus will be developing the island located opposite the main area.

While these planned additions are exciting and would greatly enhance the gameplay experience, they may take some time to materialize, as Tyler works independently. Nevertheless, the community remains enthusiastic about the upcoming content planned for the game.
