World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," expands beyond its namesake zone. This substantial update introduces Undermine, a sprawling subterranean Goblin city, but also adds several new subzones: Gutterville and Kaja’Coast.
Key Additions in Patch 11.1:
-
Undermine: A major new zone, the underground Goblin capital, featuring towering buildings, narrow streets, and inventive contraptions. The central hub, Slam Central Station, boasts five apparent access points, suggesting further connections beyond Gutterville and Kaja’Coast.
-
Gutterville: Situated in the southeastern Ringing Deeps, this subzone likely serves as an entrance to Undermine. Its maroon-colored areas hint at Black Blood corruption and house Excavation Site 9, one of the two new Delves in Patch 11.1.
-
Kaja’Coast: A new Goblin encampment on Zuldazar's southwestern coast, near Bilgewater Bonanza. This location is strongly suspected to be another access point to Undermine, potentially housing the drill-like tram showcased in the initial Patch 11.1 announcement.
While the exact nature of the remaining three potential access points to Undermine remains a mystery, the addition of Gutterville and Kaja’Coast significantly expands the exploration possibilities within the "Undermined" update.
Timeline:
While a firm release date is pending (estimated for mid-to-late February), the Public Test Realm (PTR) access is anticipated for early January, allowing players early access to explore these new locations.
