Conquer the Tempest: A Comprehensive Guide to "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves

While Rinascita's main storyline unfolds across the region, hidden gems await within its optional exploration quests. "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms," located in Rinascita's northeastern reaches, challenges players to dispel a powerful storm. This quest is crucial for accessing a Nightmare Echo within Fagaceae Peninsula's stormy ruins. Prepare your strongest Resonators; this is a substantial undertaking.

Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough

This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the ruined Lumiscale Construct south of Shores of Last Breath. The quest objectives are:

  1. Activate three Discipline Steles at designated locations.
  2. Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (first encounter).
  3. Pursue and defeat the Lumiscale Construct (second encounter).
  4. Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.

Activating the Steles

Stand on the glowing circle at each altar to charge the Discipline Steles. Enemies interrupting this process will slow progress, so eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from an altar will cause its energy to deplete. Utilize the enhanced elemental damage and status effects introduced in the 2.0 update to your advantage. For the third stele set, maneuver your character and camera to activate the prompt and pull them into position before enemy spawns.

Pursuing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct

Use your strongest Resonators to defeat the Lumiscale Construct upon your return to the starting area. A cutscene will trigger upon significantly depleting its health, initiating the chase. The environment becomes increasingly hazardous; navigate falling debris and lightning while eliminating enemies. The final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct occurs deeper within the ruins.

Confronting the Dragon of Dirge

The Dragon of Dirge is a formidable foe capable of one-shotting characters. Evade its breath attacks and falling stars, aiming for stuns. Prioritize stunning it after its major attacks.

Defeating the dragon completes the quest, unlocking access to Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
