Zenless Zone Zero Leaks Hint at New Skins for Astra Yao and Ellen Joe

Recent leaks suggest upcoming skin additions for Astra Yao and Ellen Joe in Zenless Zone Zero. While the 1.5 update, launching January 22nd, introduces new characters Evelyn and potentially a skin for Nicole, the leaked skins for Astra and Ellen are likely teases for future updates, rather than immediate additions.

Astra Yao, a highly anticipated character whose in-game appearance debuted at The Game Awards 2024, makes her playable debut in Version 1.5. Leaks, corroborated by multiple sources including Donutleaker and Palito, depict a new skin for Astra featuring an all-white puff-sleeved dress, a significant departure from her usual attire. This early skin release is somewhat unexpected given her recent introduction.

The leaks also point towards a new skin for Ellen Joe, a launch character whose Agent Story has been eagerly awaited by fans. The lack of an Ellen-focused quest in previous updates fueled anticipation for more content related to her and her connection to the shark Thiren.

While the 1.5 update itself may not offer these skins immediately, the addition of new characters, gameplay enhancements from Version 1.4, and the promise of details on Nicole's potential free skin during a special livestream make it a significant update. The livestream will provide further insight into Astra and Evelyn's abilities, upcoming events, and other additions to the game. The leaked skins for Astra Yao and Ellen Joe serve as exciting previews of future content.
