Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 Update Introduces S-Rank Agent Reruns
Version 1.5 of Zenless Zone Zero marks a significant shift in the game's character release strategy. Unlike previous updates which focused solely on introducing new agents, this update will feature rerun banners for previously released S-Rank agents, starting with Ellen Joe and Qingyi. This follows the model of HoYoverse's other popular titles, such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
The update is divided into two phases:
Phase 1 (January 22 - February 12):
- Astra Yao (new agent)
- Ellen Joe (rerun banner) This phase also introduces Ellen's Agent Story.
Phase 2 (February 12 - March 11):
- Evelyn Chevalier (new agent)
- Qingyi (rerun banner)
Both rerun banners will also include the respective characters' signature W-Engines. This provides players who missed these agents initially, or those who have joined the game more recently, a chance to acquire them.
Beyond the agent reruns, Version 1.5 will also introduce three new character outfits:
- "Chandelier" for Astra
- "On Campus" for Ellen
- "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole (obtainable for free via the Day of Brilliant Wishes event)
This update demonstrates HoYoverse's responsiveness to player feedback and its commitment to expanding the roster of playable characters in Zenless Zone Zero.
