In the year 2XXX, a mysterious virus strikes Earth, causing a bizarre illness scientists dub the "zombie" pathogen. This virus triggers horrific mutations, transforming humans into mindless zombies of altered size. The infected are fiercely drawn to noise and the scent of human blood.

Players assume the role of survivors in this post-apocalyptic wasteland. To protect their cherished home and the few remaining survivors, they must construct a fortified base with multiple defensive layers. Strategically deploying defense towers is key to reinforcing their stronghold and ensuring its safety.

At the start of each level, players are presented with the play area—an 8x8 grid—and the predetermined path monsters will take. Your task is to use puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to design a new route that forces monsters through your defensive towers’ line of fire. The ultimate goal is to defend your home from the relentless monster onslaught.

The home is positioned at a predefined spot on each level's grid. You can place the puzzle pieces anywhere, with one critical rule: at least one space must remain open in each row of the grid.

Every level consists of 6 challenging waves of monsters. Initially, you select one of two available tower cards. Once chosen, this card appears in your puzzle piece area for placement on the grid before the action begins. After surviving each wave, you get to select additional cards from a new set, which includes two tower types and a stat card. The stat card provides a permanent buff to all your defensive towers, while new tower cards are added to your available arsenal.
