A generative art live wallpaper that promotes digital well-being.
This live wallpaper generates a circle wherever you touch the screen. A square then moves from your previous touch point to the new circle, leaving a trail behind. After every 3600 squares, the screen refreshes and displays the total number of squares drawn.
I've drawn a parallel between 3600 seconds and 3600 squares. While a finger swipe takes less than a second, this visual metaphor offers a unique perspective on time and creates a heat map of your most frequently used screen areas. The format is displayed as:
1d:13h:3600
squares
Feel free to experiment with colors and patterns, but remember the core purpose: to encourage less screen time and more real-world connections.
This app was created using APDE (Android Processing Development Environment) and packaged with Processing 3.5.3.
