Application Description

This app, Caro-Gomoku-Renju-FiveinarowgamewithstrongAI, offers four popular game rules:

  • GOMOKU Freestyle: The first player to achieve an unbroken line of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.
  • CARO (Blocked rule - also known as Gomoku+, popular in Vietnam): A winning line must be unbroken and not blocked at both ends. Lines like XOOOOOX and OXXXXXO are not winning lines.
  • GOMOKU Standard: The first player to form an unbroken line of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins. Overlines (lines of six or more stones) do not result in a win.
  • RENJU: To mitigate Black's inherent first-player advantage, additional rules are implemented: Black (X) is prohibited from creating double threes (two separate lines of three unbroken black stones), double fours (two separate lines of four unbroken black stones), or overlines (six or more consecutive black stones).

The app features a powerful AI opponent with multiple difficulty levels, allowing you to play against the computer or a friend. Additional features include zoom functionality, options to display the last move and threat lines, and unlimited undo capabilities.

Version 4.0.4 (May 18, 2024): Bug fixes.
