Among Us 3D: A First-Person Perspective on Deception
Innersloth, the creators of the wildly popular Among Us, are launching a new dimension of social deduction with Among Us 3D. Building on the success of their VR adaptation, Among Us 3D delivers the classic gameplay in a fully immersive first-person experience, playable without a VR headset.
The core mechanics remain intact, but reimagined for standard gaming setups. A recently released teaser trailer hints at the enhanced immersion, showcasing tasks, emergency meetings, and sabotage from a character's perspective. Players can get a sneak peek during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival with a free demo.
While a release date is yet to be confirmed, Among Us 3D will initially launch on PC, optimized for keyboard and mouse controls. A revamped interface promises improved accessibility. Excitingly, cross-play functionality will connect Among Us 3D players with those on Among Us VR, creating a broader community. The original Among Us will remain a separate experience.
To further enhance customization, Innersloth will introduce a new in-game currency, Stardust, in the coming months. This will unlock additional personalization options for avatars, ensuring the game's continued evolution and player engagement.
