Blue Archive introduces new idol characters and Steam release announcement

Nexon has unveiled another exciting content update for Blue Archive following "The Senses Descend" expansion. The Serenade Promenade event brings fresh idol-themed content alongside major platform news for PC enthusiasts.

New Idol Characters Join the Roster

The game introduces two dynamic new characters: Mari (Pop Idol) and Sakurako (Pop Idol) through a limited-time recruitment event. Mari specializes in innovative healing mechanics, converting excess healing into bonus HP while accumulating Fan Service stacks. Sakurako focuses on critical enhancements, boosting both Critical Rate and Critical Damage for herself and Special-type students - ideal for high-intensity burst strategies. This exclusive recruitment window remains open until April 28th.

Serenade Promenade Event Details

Launched on April 15th, the Serenade Promenade story event blends musical aspirations with school-life narratives after completing Mission 2-3 (Normal). Players can experience this limited-time content through the same April 28th deadline as the character recruitment.

Steam Version Announcement

During a recent developer livestream, Nexon confirmed Blue Archive's upcoming Steam release, enabling cross-platform progression between mobile and PC. The team also addressed ongoing improvements to English localization quality for global players.

New Challenge Content

The update introduces the Chokmah (Special Armor) Final Restriction Release event running until May 12th. This progressive boss challenge features armor-focused mechanics with a unique reward system - clearing higher difficulty stages automatically unlocks all lower-tier rewards without additional grinding.
