Thanks to the March 10th v0.13.0 update, you can now customize the length of daytime hours in Fields of Mistria. This feature is accessible to all players, regardless of their in-game progress.

  1. Begin by loading your saved game from the Main Menu. Once back on your farm, open the Pause Menu.
  2. At the bottom, click the Settings tab (cog wheel icon).
  3. From the left-hand menu, select ‘Accessibility’.
  4. Locate the ‘Day Time Speed’ option at the top; it will initially display ‘Standard.’
  5. Selecting this option will prompt a warning that altering daytime hours might affect NPC schedules, which are optimized for the Standard setting.
  6. If this doesn't concern you, adjust the daytime speed meter to either ‘Longer’ or ‘Longest’. ‘Longer’ provides a noticeable increase, while ‘Longest’ offers even more playtime.

  1. To activate the change, simply have your character sleep in their bed until the day transitions. The new daytime duration will then be in effect. Repeat this process to switch between settings.

For players familiar with farming simulators like Fields of Mistria (and its popular predecessor, Stardew Valley), time management is crucial. The limited time per day for completing tasks often necessitates careful scheduling. Demanding activities like mining typically consume an entire day, requiring early departures to avoid exhaustion. While the Teleportation Chalice helps alleviate this, the v0.13.0 update provides a welcome solution.
