Diablo 4: Big Reveals Expected on January 21

Diablo 4 Season 7: Season of Witchcraft Overview

Blizzard has unveiled all the details about Diablo 4 Season 7, dubbed Season of Witchcraft, which is set to launch on January 21. Since its debut in 2023, Diablo 4 has been bolstered by Blizzard's consistent updates, seasonal content, and a major expansion, with more on the horizon for this beloved action-RPG.

The seasonal content in Diablo 4 is a key factor in keeping the community engaged between expansions. While some seasons have been more thrilling than others, Season of Witchcraft is shaping up to be one of the most significant releases since the game's launch. This is due in part to Season 6 concluding "Chapter 1" of content, with Season 7 heralding the start of "Chapter 2."

Launch Date and Time

Mark your calendars—Diablo 4 Season of Witchcraft will commence on Tuesday, January 21 at 10am PST. Players will collaborate with the Witches of Hawezar to retrieve heads stolen from the Tree of Whispers. Engaging with the Witches of Hawezar will offer players the opportunity to enhance their abilities by delving into witchcraft powers.

Season 7 introduces new Occult Gems, which players can equip to unlock fresh abilities, some reminiscent of those found in Diablo 3. These gems will be crucial in battles against the new Headrotten Bosses, which drop valuable rewards, including more Occult Gems, upon defeat.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Alongside the new content, Season 7 will also bring several quality-of-life enhancements. The Diablo 4 armory is set for a major upgrade, allowing players to save and swiftly switch between different loadouts. Additionally, the season promises new rewards through unique and legendary items, the chance to unlock the Raven pet by engaging in the Season Journey, and new tiers in the Battle Pass.

Exclusive Content for Vessel of Hatred Owners

Owners of the Vessel of Hatred expansion will enjoy exclusive seasonal content during Season 7, including access to three new Runes. Blizzard has always indicated that some seasonal content would be reserved for expansion owners, and these exclusives may become even more significant in future seasons. For a full Diablo 4 Season 7 experience, owning the Vessel of Hatred expansion is highly recommended.

Future Content and Expansions

Looking ahead, Diablo 4 enthusiasts can anticipate further seasonal content throughout 2025, along with a new expansion slated for release this fall. While the details of the upcoming expansion remain under wraps, the continuous stream of updates and seasonal content will keep players engaged as they await further announcements.
