Diablo 4 Season 7: How to Secure Fugitive Heads for Crafting

Author : Zoey Nov 03,2025

The Season of Witchcraft in Diablo 4 introduces a wealth of fresh content. To fully leverage the latest season, players need to gather a scarce new resource. Here’s how to obtain Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7.

What Are Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7?

Season 7 of Diablo 4 offers players a lot to explore. The spotlight, however, is on Witchcraft Powers, which grant unique abilities to enhance gameplay. These powers rely on Occult Gems, a new resource providing 160 Armor and 8% Resist All. Crafting these gems is challenging due to their rarity.

To craft Occult Gems, players must first secure a Fugitive Head and deliver it to Gelena at the Tree of Whispers. Additional crafting requires one Fugitive Head, 1,000 Restless Rot, and 50,000 Gem Fragments. Thus, knowing how to acquire Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7 is crucial.

How to Locate Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7

Blizzard keeps the challenge high by requiring players to complete Whisper bounties in Headhunt zones, a new area in Season 7. Upon completion, there’s a small chance an Uprooted Cocoon will spawn. Breaking it open isn’t straightforward, as Headrotten Bosses emerge. With luck, some of these bosses carry a Fugitive Head, which players can claim after defeating them.

This process is time-consuming and heavily reliant on chance. Fortunately, players can increase their odds of finding Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7. The Draught of Whispers Elixir, available through Exposed Roots, Whispers Cache, and Coven’s Cache, boosts the spawn rate of Fugitive Heads by 50% and increases the likelihood of Forgotten Altars appearing.

Difficulty plays a critical role in securing Fugitive Heads. Their spawn rate is extremely low below Torment difficulty, which already poses a challenge. Casual players should acclimate to Torment before embarking on a Headhunt. With Season 7 running until April, there’s ample time to adapt and collect Fugitive Heads.
