Etheria: Restart announced via Twitter (X) on April 21 that they will be streaming live ahead of their final beta test. Mark your calendars for April 25, 2025, at 21:00 (UTC-5), when the livestream will go live on Etheria: Restart’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. Etheria: Restart is an eagerly anticipated free-to-play hero RPG, featuring live arena battles set in a futuristic, sci-fi universe. The game's narrative unfolds in a world where humanity, facing a global freeze, uploads their minds to Etheria to survive alongside beings known as the Animus. Yet, this digital haven is threatened by the Genesis Virus, which corrupts the Animus, turning them hostile.
As a member of the Hyperlinker Union, players take on the role of a Hyperlinker tasked with combating this viral threat and uncovering its origins to protect both the virtual realm and what remains of humanity.
Powered by Unreal Engine, Etheria: Restart boasts stunning graphics and cinematic sequences. The gameplay combines strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control, and includes a PvP arena for competitive battles. The game also incorporates a gacha system, where players can acquire new characters using Hydra Crystals, which can be earned in-game or purchased with real money.
Final Beta Test Starts May 8, 2025
The final beta test is slated to kick off on May 8, 2025, and will introduce the Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater trial challenges, alongside real-time PvP (RTA) battles inspired by popular titles like Summoners War and Epic Seven.
Cross-play functionality will be available during this beta phase, allowing players on mobile and PC to compete in the real-time arena, assemble the ultimate squad to tackle challenging boss fights, and unlock new companions called "Shells."
