At long last, EA has unveiled Battlefield Studios and shared our first glimpse of the upcoming Battlefield title. To help shape the future of the franchise, you can sign up for Battlefield Labs to gain early access to Battlefield 6. Here is how to get involved.
What Is Battlefield Labs?
To gather vital feedback for the next Battlefield game, EA is inviting the community to participate in Battlefield Labs. This new program offers a select group of fans the chance “to step inside the war room.” Selected participants will engage in early remote playtests and provide direct feedback to developers at EA’s Battlefield Studios.
EA will initially launch Battlefield Labs with several thousand players across Europe and North America, planning to expand to other regions and tens of thousands of players in the future. The program will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Is Battlefield Labs Different From a Beta? Answered
While EA has previously allowed communities to dive into Betas before Battlefield titles launch, Battlefield Labs operates differently. Players will access work-in-progress content featuring more bugs, rough edges, and potential technical issues than typical Betas.
EA wants Battlefield Labs members to share crucial feedback on combat loops, map flow, balance, and other elements to help guide the direction of the upcoming Battlefield game. Participants must adhere to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and are not permitted to publicly share information about their experience.
With that in mind, here is how you can gain access to Battlefield Labs yourself.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play Battlefield 6 Early Access
By visiting the Battlefield Labs webpage, Battlefield fans can learn more about the program and sign up for a chance to join. You will need to log in or create an EA account, link it with your preferred gaming platform, then sign in. Once logged in, you may enter a queue for the EA website. If so, keep the tab active, as you will only have 15 minutes to access the site when it is your turn.
Once you reach the Battlefield Labs signup page, fill out any required information and register your email address. Be sure to check your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest details if selected.
EA has announced that the next Battlefield game will launch in EA’s FY26, meaning Battlefield 6 is expected to release before April 1, 2026.
