Carmen Sandiego Celebrates PRIDE Month with Festive In-Game Event

While Carmen Sandiego continues cracking cases worldwide, she's making time to celebrate. Gameloft's contemporary version of the international sleuth has introduced a limited-time event honoring PRIDE month in Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not to Steal.

PRIDE Celebration Comes to Carmen Sandiego

The special event, titled FestiVILE: Carnival Crisis, is now active in the game and will run through July 6th. Players can enjoy a vibrant new adventure set against the colorful backdrop of New Orleans.

What's Happening in the PRIDE Event?

This exciting storyline sees VILE disrupting the city's major PRIDE parade by stealing its prized floral float decorations before the celebration begins. Carmen springs into action, racing against time to outmaneuver VILE and rescue the festivities.

Successful completion of the mission rewards players with an exclusive Pride-themed outfit that will become unavailable after the event concludes, returning next year. Check out the festive new outfits below.

Meanwhile, the main story continues with Chapter 4 Part 1 – The Fallen Idol, where VILE targets Egypt's Great Sphinx of Giza. Players will investigate clues across Toronto's Casa Loma and Kensington Market before journeying to Jaipur's Johari Bazaar to prevent the historical landmark's potential destruction.

Special Bonus for All Players

As thanks for completing the Wishlist Community Challenge, all players receive the exclusive Beachwear outfit as a gift.

The FestiVILE event also introduces quality-of-life improvements including an Auto Collect feature for gathering clues, plus helpful navigation reminders. Keep an eye out for the Secrets to Discover icon in The ACME Files - if locations appear more festive than usual, you're on the right track.
