Charlie Cox's portrayal of Daredevil has seamlessly transitioned from Netflix to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sparking speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who played Iron Fist, recently expressed his eagerness to reprise his role, stating, "I’m here and I’m ready."

Jones last portrayed Danny Rand in the second season of the Iron Fist series on Netflix and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite the lukewarm reception to his performance, Jones remains hopeful about returning to the MCU.

The successful integration of Daredevil into the MCU has fueled optimism for a revival of The Defenders. Reports suggest that Marvel is actively "exploring" this possibility. At the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, Jones addressed the criticism he received for his portrayal of Iron Fist, expressing a desire to redeem himself and prove his detractors wrong.

"\[There is a\] willingness for the fans to see that happen," Jones told the audience when asked about a potential return. "There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f\*\*\*ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

Daredevil: Born Again continues the story that began on Netflix, which once hosted its own mini Marvel universe with shows like Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. These series, along with The Defenders, are now officially part of the MCU canon and available on Disney+. Additionally, Jon Bernthal's Punisher, previously exclusive to Netflix, will also appear in Daredevil: Born Again.
