Playing The Getaway in Fortnite
Jumping into The Getaway is straightforward. Launch Fortnite, head to the Lobby, then select "Discover." Locate The Getaway and hit "Play" to start queuing. Alternatively, use the search bar in the top-left of the Lobby and type "The Getaway" for a quicker search.
What Is The Getaway?
The Getaway is a thrilling PvP heist mode. Your mission: snatch a jewel and escape with the Getaway Van. Compete against other teams vying for the same prize. The first three teams to successfully steal and escape with a jewel win. Alternatively, eliminating opposing teams also contributes to victory. This time around, enjoy The Getaway in Zero Build mode (perfect for those who prefer less construction) and across various team sizes: Duos, Squads, Unranked, and Ranked.
The Getaway Start and End Dates
The Getaway is currently live in Fortnite, but it's a limited-time event. The mode will conclude on April 1st at 12:00 AM Eastern Time. Don't miss out! Playing The Getaway earns you valuable XP towards your Battle Pass progression.
