Gigabyte RTX 5070 Card at MSRP for Prime Members on Amazon

If you've been on the hunt for an affordable Blackwell graphics card and have been waiting for one to come back in stock at a reputable retailer, your wait might be over. Amazon currently offers the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Windforce OC 12GB Graphics Card exclusively for Amazon Prime members at the list price of $609.99, complete with free shipping. This GPU is an excellent choice for gamers aiming to play at up to 1440p resolution with high framerates and takes full advantage of the latest DLSS 4 technology.

It's worth noting that the suggested launch price for a GeForce RTX 5070 card is $549.99. While there are models available at this price, they are extremely scarce. The Windforce OC model is priced higher due to its overclocked version. Nevertheless, at $609.99, it's currently the most competitively priced standalone RTX 5070 GPU you can find.

When compared to the previous generation GPUs, the RTX 5070 offers performance on par with the RTX 4070 Super. Although we might have hoped for a more significant generational leap in raw performance, the RTX 4070 Super was already a top performer for 1080p and 1440p gaming, with a launch price of $599.99, just $10 less than this Gigabyte 5070 model. However, finding an RTX 4070 Super at this price is nearly impossible now. The RTX 5070 not only looks better but also performs better in games that support DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, making it a more future-proof option that will benefit from ongoing driver optimizations.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 delivers on its promise to enable gaming at 1440p with high frame rates. However, it doesn't necessarily outperform the RTX 4070 Super or other cards in its price bracket. The inclusion of Multi Frame Generation is a valuable feature, especially for those with high-refresh monitors, but it alone might not justify an upgrade for everyone."
