Although there has been no official word yet, aside from a report from Insider Gaming, it appears that a Hogwarts Legacy: Definitive Edition is slated for release in 2025. This director's cut is expected to feature an additional 10-15 hours of new DLC content. Fans speculate that this new content could lay the groundwork for plot points in the sequel and strengthen ties to the upcoming HBO adaptation. Currently, the only available DLC for Hogwarts Legacy is The Dark Arts Legacy Pack, which costs $19.99 and includes the Thestral Mount, Dark Arts Cosmetic Set, and Dark Arts Battle Arena. This raises the question: Will Hogwarts Legacy 2 launch with its own DLC, or will it follow the same path as its predecessor, taking a while before additional content becomes available?
