Infinity Nikki: A Guide to Finding Stellar Fruit
Infinity Nikki's vast wardrobe system and crafting mechanics are key to its enduring appeal. Acquiring crafting materials, however, often requires dedicated searching. One such elusive item is Stellar Fruit, found only in specific locations and under particular conditions. This guide will help you locate and collect this shimmering ingredient.
Stellar Fruit's Location and Acquisition
Stellar Fruit, a semi-rare crafting material, is exclusively found in the Wishing Woods. This area unlocks later in the game, specifically after completing Chapter 6 and assisting Timis in the Abandoned District. The key to finding Stellar Fruit is nighttime. These blue fruits only appear at night on Chronos Trees. During the day, the same trees bear Sol Fruit (sun fruit).
To avoid waiting for nightfall, use your Pear-Pal's "Run, Pear-Pal" function to fast-forward time to 22:00 (the start of nighttime). Even better, locate a Chronos Tree with Sol Fruit during the day, then fast-forward to instantly harvest Stellar Fruit.
Each Chronos Tree yields up to three Stellar Fruits. You can either jump to reach the fruit or push the tree to make the fruit fall. Be quick to collect any fallen fruit, as Maskwing Bugs will try to steal them. Use your Bug-Catching outfit to capture the bugs and reclaim the fruit.
Using the Map to Track Stellar Fruit
Once you've found your first Stellar Fruit, utilize your in-game map to pinpoint other nearby sources. Open your map, tap "Collections" (bottom left), locate Stellar Fruit under the "Plants" category, and select "Track." Your map will now highlight the nearest Stellar Fruit locations. With a sufficiently upgraded Collection Insight, you can also gather Stellar Fruit Essence.
The image above shows the locations of Stellar Fruit nodes in the Wishing Woods for those without Precise Tracking unlocked.
Alternative Method: In-Game Store
As a last resort, you can purchase Stellar Fruit (up to 5 per month) from the in-game store's "Resonance" tab. However, this requires Surging Ebb, a rare currency obtained from duplicate 5-Star clothing items. This method is not recommended due to the difficulty in acquiring Surging Ebb.
Remember to collect other rare items like Pink Ribbon Eels during the Shooting Star season (V.1.1) while you're exploring!
