As expected, Mortal Kombat 1 players have quickly discovered the secret battle against Floyd, the mysterious pink ninja, shortly after the guest character Conan the Barbarian was introduced. However, the exact method to trigger this fight remains elusive to many.
Floyd, previously a rumored character, has now become a tangible part of Mortal Kombat 1. The character was first hinted at by NetherRealm's development chief, Ed Boon, who teased fans over the years about a pink ninja named Floyd. In 2023, Mortal Kombat dataminer TheThiny found references to Floyd in the game's files, confirming his existence. It is only now, years later, that Floyd has been fully integrated into Mortal Kombat 1, though the details on how to encounter him are still somewhat murky.
