During today's Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, Nintendo showcased several key features of the new console. This allows for a stunning 1080p display in handheld mode at up to 120fps. The screen is an LCD with HDR support, and when docked, it can deliver visuals in up to 4K resolution with HDR.The Joy-Con 2 controllers feature a magnetic connection system and can be detached with a simple press of a release button located on the back. The SL and SR buttons on the sides are larger, enhancing the comfort and ease of playing in horizontal mode. Additionally, the left and right analog sticks are also bigger. A notable addition is the introduction of mouse control support within the Joy-Con controllers, expanding the ways players can interact with games.
The Nintendo Switch 2's handheld mode includes a built-in microphone with noise-canceling technology and supports 3D audio for compatible games, promising an immersive audio experience.
