Party Animals has been officially announced for the PlayStation 5, with more details expected to be revealed soon. Developed by Recreate Games and published by Source Technology, this game initially gained popularity through its release on Game Pass, which allowed a broad audience to experience its fun and engaging gameplay. Now, two years after its timed console exclusivity, Party Animals is gearing up for its PlayStation 5 debut.

For those in the party gaming community, Party Animals offers a refreshing twist on the genre. It builds upon the success of physics-based brawlers like Gang Beasts, providing a diverse roster of over 45 playable characters. The game also includes numerous maps and modes to keep players entertained, with the addition of the new Nemo Kart racing game adding even more excitement.

A new trailer has been released to announce Party Animals for the PlayStation 5. The trailer, while short, perfectly captures the game's humorous tone. It features the mascot character Nico humorously struggling to present a PlayStation 5 on stage, culminating in a comedic moment with two DualSense controllers smacking him in the face. This trailer effectively gives potential players a taste of the slapstick humor they can expect from Party Animals on the PS5.

Party Animals Drops PS5 Trailer

The announcement trailer for Party Animals on the PlayStation 5 does not provide a specific release date, simply stating that the game is "coming soon." Given that a PlayStation listing for the game was created by July 2024 and its presence on Xbox Series consoles, the development of the PS5 version is likely to be completed relatively quickly. The phrase "coming soon" suggests that a release might be just a few months away, though final content and release dates could still change.

Excitement among PlayStation 5 gamers is palpable as they look forward to adding Party Animals to their gaming libraries. Many are hopeful that the game will be included in PlayStation Plus, similar to its day-one release on Game Pass. If added to PlayStation Plus, it would allow members to enjoy the game for free during a specific period, potentially boosting its visibility and player base on the platform. Even without the support of a subscription service, Party Animals is poised to attract significant attention upon its PS5 release.
