May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, with a packed schedule of events and the highly anticipated return of the Lake Trio. The highlight of the month will undoubtedly be the chance to catch Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf in 5-Star Raids across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th. This legendary Pokémon will bring its special move, Nature's Madness, and offer a chance to encounter its Shiny form.

Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio will take center stage starting May 12th, with their availability varying by region. Uxie will appear in Asia-Pacific, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland. This regional distribution adds a thrilling element to the hunt for these legendary Pokémon.

After the Lake Trio's stint, Tapu Bulu will grace the Five-Star raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and a potential Shiny encounter.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a diverse lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and finally, Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month will be filled with various events, starting with "Growing Up" from May 2nd to 7th, and a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to 18th, the "Crown Clash" event will take place, with a Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day on May 11th promises a mystery Pokémon, adding an element of surprise to the festivities. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will run from May 14th to 18th, followed by a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.
