As the new year unfolds, *Pokemon GO* fans can look forward to a fresh lineup of live, in-person events. Niantic, the game's developer, has faced criticism in the past for announcing major event dates late, especially for travel-intensive events like GO Fest. It seems they've taken the feedback to heart and are releasing the schedule earlier this year.

Niantic has confirmed the dates for GO Fest 2025, all set for June. This year, the event will take place across three different locations, each with its own schedule:
- GO Fest Osaka: May 29 – June 1
- GO Fest Jersey City: June 6 – June 8
- GO Fest Paris: June 13 – June 15
While tickets are not yet available, this early announcement allows fans to start planning their time off and travel arrangements. If the ticket model follows previous years, players will need to select a specific date within the event weekend. This means a bit of flexibility in your travel plans might be necessary before tickets go on sale and you can confirm your participation date for GO Fest 2025.
No dates have been announced for a Global GO Fest in 2025, but based on past trends, we can expect a global event to follow sometime in late June or early July.

The chosen locations for GO Fest 2025 are:
- Osaka, Japan
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
- Paris, France
Two of these countries hosted events in 2024, with Japan and the US returning for another round. France replaces Spain, which was the third location last year.
While a Global event hasn't been confirmed yet, recent years have included a scaled-down, virtual version of GO Fest. This allows players worldwide to participate in some of the festivities after the in-person events conclude.

The early announcement of GO Fest dates means that Niantic hasn't released many specifics yet. Currently, the *Pokemon GO* official website is focused on the upcoming GO Tour: Unova event, happening in February 2025 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, California, USA.
Historically, GO Fest events bring exciting new features to *Pokemon GO*. Last year's event introduced Necrozma and the Fusion mechanic, and it was filled with Raid battles, taking full advantage of the in-person gatherings. Attendees can also expect unique wild spawns, Shiny Pokemon debuts, and various bonuses to make the event both thrilling and rewarding. While the exact details for GO Fest 2025 are still under wraps, Niantic is likely to start sharing more enticing information soon after the Unova Tour concludes.
And that’s everything you need to know about *Pokemon GO* Fest 2025, including the dates and locations.
