Today's Sony State of Play unveiled a chilling new trailer for Silent Hill f, confirming that its fog of fresh horrors will descend on September 25, 2025.
A deeply unsettling new trailer offered a longer, darker glimpse of what awaits in Silent Hill f. We follow protagonist Hinako Shimizu and her friends in Ebisugaoka, living ordinary, peaceful lives just before a mysterious fog shrouds the town, twisting reality into a nightmare.
Eerie red flowers bloom. Grotesque, twitching dolls begin hunting Hinako, attempting to tear her apart. Her friends don't fare any better. The trailer showcased gore, violence, paranormal activity, and Hinako's surprising proficiency with a crowbar.
First announced in 2022, Silent Hill f is set in 1960s Japan and aims to juxtapose horror with beauty in a story penned by acclaimed Japanese writer Ryukishi07. It's a standalone title separate from other Silent Hill games and is Japan's first M-rated entry in the series, featuring truly gruesome content including impalement, faces being torn apart, a character burned alive in a cage, entrails on platters, and more. A truly terrifying experience!
