If you're a fan of high-quality audio, you'll know that Sonos rarely discounts their premium speakers. However, right now, both Amazon and Walmart are offering a fantastic deal on the Sonos Arc soundbar, slashing its price to just $599 after a substantial $300 off. This is an excellent opportunity, especially since the Arc has been discontinued and replaced by the new Arc Ultra. It's currently sold out on the Sonos website and may only reappear in their Refurbished section.

The Sonos Arc was the flagship soundbar until the recent launch of the Arc Ultra, which comes with a $1,000 price tag and hasn't seen any discounts yet. The Arc, a 45-inch marvel, features eleven meticulously engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers, and is fully equipped with Dolby Atmos, including two dedicated height channels. Its user-friendly design allows for easy pairing with other Sonos speakers and subs via the app, making it an ideal choice for those seeking superior sound without the complexities of typical AV setups. Additional features include an ambient light sensor, HDMI eARC, capacitive touch controls, WiFi, and a built-in microphone for voice commands.

While the Arc Ultra maintains a design similar to the Arc, with slightly different dimensions (1.5" wider, 0.4" shorter, and 0.4" shallower), its internal components have been significantly upgraded. It boasts fourteen speakers, including seven tweeters, six midwoofers, and a new Sound Motion four-motor dual-membrane woofer. This upgrade results in richer, cleaner bass and enhanced dialogue clarity. Additionally, the Arc Ultra includes Bluetooth, a feature missing from the original Arc.
