"It Takes Two: Joseph Fares Hints at Sequel"

It Takes Two, released in 2021, quickly became a global phenomenon, winning "Game of the Year" honors and selling over 20 million copies. Its unique cooperative gameplay and inventive design earned critical acclaim and fan devotion.

Fans of It Takes Two have long hoped for a sequel since its release. Hazelight Studios, led by founder Josef Fares, has expressed a penchant for innovation over sequels, preferring to explore new concepts. Nevertheless, during a recent interview, Fares hinted at the possibility of revisiting It Takes Two. When asked about continuing any of his previous projects, he stated:

Who knows what the future holds? Never say never.

Despite Hazelight's current focus on their upcoming title, Split Fiction, Fares' remarks have reignited speculation among fans. While no official announcements have been made, anticipation for a potential sequel remains high. For now, enthusiasts eagerly await further updates from Hazelight Studios.
