Mastering Stealth in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: The Art of Rock Throwing

While direct combat has its thrills, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers a compelling stealth system, with rock throwing as a key component. This guide details how to effectively utilize this sneaky tactic.

Initiating the Throw:

Remember, rock throwing is exclusively a stealth action. Enter stealth mode by clicking the right stick (controllers) or pressing C (PC). Then, hold the designated button to initiate the throw:

  • PlayStation: R1
  • Xbox: RB
  • PC: G

Henry's hand will appear onscreen, holding a pebble. A crosshair indicates the throw's trajectory. Release the button to launch the rock.

Tips and Tricks for Effective Rock Throwing:

  • Unlimited Ammo: Don't worry about running out of rocks; your supply is limitless!
  • Noise Radius: The sound radius of a thrown pebble is relatively small. Ensure your target is within close proximity for optimal effect. Hitting objects like cups or plates will create a louder disturbance.
  • Distraction and Opportunity: Successfully thrown rocks will draw enemies' attention, providing a chance for a stealth takedown or a strategic retreat. However, directly hitting an enemy will instantly alert them.
  • Bird Nests: Utilize rocks to knock down bird nests scattered throughout the game world. These nests often contain valuable rewards, such as eggs (providing minor nourishment) or even rare dice badges.

This covers the essentials of rock throwing in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For further assistance in your adventures, The Escapist offers guides on acquiring the best horse and selling stolen goods.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
