Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support

Jingle Hells, the holiday-themed map in Black Ops 6 Zombies, introduces unique mechanics for weapon upgrades, ammo mods, and support item acquisition. Unlike the standard game mode, the Arsenal Machine and Workbench are absent. Let's explore how to obtain these essential items.

Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells

Instead of the Arsenal Machine, players rely on Aether Tools to upgrade weapons. These consumable items, found in various rarities (color-coded), instantly upgrade your weapon to their corresponding tier (e.g., a purple Aether Tool upgrades to Legendary rarity). Here's how to obtain them:

  • Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The higher the round, the higher the rarity of the dropped Aether Tool.
  • Bank Vault: Loot keys unlock safety deposit boxes within the bank vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Completing these trials, especially at higher reward tiers, offers a chance to receive Aether Tools.
  • Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrades your weapon to Legendary rarity.
  • Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as the rounds progress.

Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells

Currently, only the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod is available in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily obtained from:

  • Holiday Presents: These random loot drops, with higher rarity chances in later rounds, are a primary source of Cryo Freeze. Holiday Presents can be obtained by:
    • Killing enemies.
    • Using the Naughty or Nice power-up (Nice drops multiple presents, Naughty spawns vermin).
    • Finding them near the S.A.M. Machine when it spawns.

Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

The absence of the Workbench means no Salvage-based crafting. However, equipment and support items can still be acquired through:

  • Enemy Drops: Killing enemies, especially Special and Elite enemies, can drop equipment and support items.
  • Holiday Presents: These can also contain equipment and support.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Offer a chance to reward equipment and support.
  • Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: May contain equipment and support.
