Wingspan Asia to Launch on iOS, Android This Month

• The Asia Expansion takes flight on June 16th
• Duet Mode reinvents two-player strategy with fresh competitive dynamics
• Fresh avian species, special bonus cards, and atmospheric backdrops enhance gameplay

Initially revealed in February, Wingspan's Asia Expansion finally prepares for its digital debut later this month across iOS, Android, PC, Switch, and console platforms. As Monster Couch's third digital expansion, it introduces an entirely new geographic region to the acclaimed strategy game, complete with innovative mechanics, exotic bird species, and a vibrant tribute to Asian ecosystems and traditions.

The crown jewel of this expansion is Duet Mode – an inventive head-to-head format that transforms competitive play. Opponents will battle across a dedicated Duet Map, strategically placing tokens to control habitat zones while pursuing special round objectives. This reimagined system fosters more dynamic player interaction and demands sharper strategic planning.

True to form, the expansion welcomes a spectacular array of winged creatures to your collection. These Asian birds introduce unique abilities, novel scoring options, and delightful behavioral characteristics. Every species offers educational insights with region-specific details. The expansion also delivers 13 impactful bonus cards (including two designed specifically for solo play against Automa AI) to revitalize your gameplay strategies.

Visually and sonically, Wingspan: Asia Expansion upholds the franchise's hallmark serene aesthetic. Players will discover four region-specific backgrounds, eight new avatars, and four tranquil original compositions by Pawel Górniak that enhance focus and immersion. This update essentially transforms your device into a captivating portal to Eastern environments.
