How to Play Rummy (रमी):
Rummy rules are easy to learn! 13-card rummy is played with 2-5 players. Each player receives 13 cards. The goal is to create sequences (runs) and sets using all 13 cards. A minimum of two sequences are needed for a valid declaration; one must be a pure sequence (1st life), and the second can be pure or impure (2nd life). At least one sequence must have four cards.
Rummy Game Variants:
- 21 Cards Rummy: Form sets or sequences of 3. Pure sequences, 3 tunnels separated by groups of 3. Eight dublees can be arranged in separate groups; eight jokers can be arranged together.
- 13 Cards Points Rummy: 2-5 players. 2 decks for 2-3 players, 3 decks for 4-5 players. Points are calculated after a valid declaration; points are added for any cards not part of a set or sequence. Maximum point loss per game is 80, based on predetermined rupee values.
