Shadow Ninja: A Side-Scrolling Action Game
Shadow Ninja is a side-scrolling action game with a dark art style. Players take on the role of Shimazu, a samurai whose son has been kidnapped and wife murdered by the evil demon Takeda, aided by another demon, Fudo. Takeda was sealed away by Shimazu ten years prior, and now Shimazu must seek revenge and rescue his son. The game demands strategic thinking, memorization, and a keen focus on avoiding traps.
Skills:
Samurai skills can be upgraded using coins and diamonds collected during gameplay:
- Dash: A close-combat technique capable of eliminating targets in a single strike, but ineffective at long range.
- Disappearing: Allows players to become invisible to enemies, enabling surprise attacks.
- Throw Shuriken: Shuriken throws don't guarantee a one-hit kill; multiple throws may be necessary. Effective for long-range attacks.
- Checkpoints: Pre-placed checkpoints are immovable, but players can create new checkpoints at their current location after progressing through several levels.
